Chemnitz Region (DED4)Makers United is a collaborative festival blending technology, craftsmanship, art, and science. The event features hands-on workshops, maker residencies, and interactive exhibits.
Local makerspaces and creative professionals host workshops focused on creative problem-solving, teamwork, and communication through collaborative projects. International makers join residencies to share innovative practices.
The festival fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, critical thinking, and inclusivity, helping participants become more adaptable and innovative in their personal and professional lives.
Makers United stands out as a best practice by integrating community with local and international maker culture, promoting transferable soft skills in an accessible and inclusive setting.
