Interactive day with creatives and CEO's of technical companies: brainstorm about real challenges
Overview
What has been done
We invited 45 creative students and entrepreneurs along with the CEO's of 2 companies at the Talent Campus in Pelt (former industrial area porducing zinc). In the morning we started with general welcome and introduction about the project and the day. Then we split up in two groups, each group went on a site visit in the company. During the "pokébrain" lunch (enjoying pokébowl and using your brain) the CEO's presented their companies and pitched their future challenges. in the afternoon the group
Why was it needed locally
Stimulate interaction between technical and creative professionals to promote creativity, communication, collaboration, and self-reflection in innovation-driven contexts.
Target Groups: How were they activated
University / college – LUCA School of Arts
Benefit: Match between education and company: they showed their creative skills and taltens to future possible employers / clients
Activation: personal invitation via de docent van de laatstejaars porduct design, in overleg met het departementshoofd is overeengekomen dat deze deel zou uitmaken van het curriculum
Industrial / technological SME – Burocad (printing) & PAMI (office furniture)
Benefit: tijdens de brainsstormsessie zijn er veel ideeën vrezameld om de voorop gestelde uitdagingen aan te pakken.
Activation: mapping possible companies, intensive personal contact with CEO's through our network and the network of the local municipality, presentation to local associations of industrial companies
Creative SME – creative (solo) local entrepreneurs
Benefit: close contact with students (furure emplyees) as well as companies (future clients / suppliers),
Activation: mapping individual creative entrepreneurs individually as well as through local local associations of creatieves, and through the network of the local freelancer

- Site visits: - guided tour (duration: 1,5 hours) in the company by the CEO<br /> - group was split in two: each group visited one company
- Cooker pressure method: Brainstorm sessions in 6 groups <br /> 3 challenges per company (6 in total)<br /> 6x 10’ per challenge (<br /> 15’ clustering of ideas by table leaders<br /> 6x 5’ feedback of each challenge
